Numerous changes since my earlier electrical post. Notice the phone numbers getting longer. Just finished a book on the Eisenhower years. These posts demonstrate the tremendous economic growth of the 1950s. Income rose, unemployment declined and the federal government worked hard to balance the budget. Income tax was high but, as Ike said, if you want improvements someone has to pay. Very different decade than our cut taxes, increase spending, debt rises attitude that has guided many presidencies since Reagan.
