21 November 2018: Founders Park Hike

We had been working around the house all morning doing those things necessary to get ready for Thanksgiving. It was 64 degrees outside and sun, that perfect SoDak day so we drove through town to hike at Founders Park. Just what we needed.
Our trail today kept us out of the sun for the most part but you can see the light hitting the upper branches of the trees.

The dog was definitely keeping ahead of his master (next picture) who was struggling up one of many climbs in this park. There are 28 miles of mountain biking trails and you don't have to leave Rapid City. In fact, an outstanding bike shop is located directly across the street.

Two guys taking a break after climbing one  of the hills.

The variety of colors as we walked up the trail.

Best 2 hours of the day. Thanksgiving Day is supposed to be just as nice.
