December 13, 2018 hike to Sheridan Lake

Beautiful December day at home, temperature was in the mid 40s with bright sun and low humidity so we decided that a hike on our favorite trail was in order. It was 36 at Spring Creek trailhead and still some snow cover. With the sun much lower on the horizon there are many areas that are untouched by the sun during the day.

We both wore grippers on our boots. The trail was covered with snow and ice. There are areas where a slip can mean a drop of 40' or more.

Still working on that shadow hikers look.

Three bridge crossings, again, very glad to have grippers on our feet.
